And just like that, another year has come to an end. It feels just like yesterday we were welcoming in 2019, and now a new decade is upon us. December is a CRAZY month. Holiday parties, family obligations, work gatherings, the list goes on. What we tend to forget, is to carve out time for ourselves. Now is a perfect time to reflect upon the past year and set intentions for the new year ahead of us. Journaling and reflection can help us with our personal growth and goal setting by making us truly think about what it is that we desire, what we want to let go of, and what we want to manifest more of. Here are some prompts for you to do some of your own soul searching and reflecting as we head in to 2020. Take your time answering these questions and be honest with yourself! This is a space for you to recognize your growth over the past year, set intentions for the year ahead, and release old patterns that no longer serve you.

2019 Reflection:
1: What goals have I achieved this year?
2: What were the three things (or more) that made me feel most
grateful?
3:What was my favorite moment of the entire year?
4: What is something new I learned?
5: What old habits did I break?
6: What was my biggest learning moment?
7: What is something I would like to change moving forward in the new
year?
8: What is something I would like to leave behind in the new year?

2019 Releasing Ritual:
Write those things down that you no longer want to carry forward into the New Year on a piece of paper. Take a moment to appreciate the lessons you have learned from these things, and then in a fire safe container, or your fireplace, burn the paper and let those things go. Now, bring your attention to moving forward.

2020 Intention and Goal Setting:
What is your intention for 2020? What are some words that come to mind when you think about what it is you would like to manifest in 2020? What are three goals you would like to achieve by the end of the year? Make your bucket list for 2020. What do you want to do? What do you want to see? What are some things you want to learn about this year? What is one wish you have for someone close to you in 2020? What is one wish for the world you have in 2020? What are three things you’re grateful for, for the year ahead?
