Get your chocolate fix with these delicious, gluten-free, healthy brownies!
- 1 15 ounce can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
- ½ cup peanut butter or any other nut butter
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup dairy free chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 8×8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to blender or food processor and process on high until smooth and creamy.
Fold chocolate chips into the batter by hand.
Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
If desired, melt another ¼ cup of chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and drizzle over the bars.
Store in an airtight container.
