Cupping therapy is an ancient technique used to treat muscular pain. A suction is created using instruments called cups, either through reverse mechanical pressure or heat, to pull toxins and accumulations out through the skin.

REIKI

This Japanese technique reduces stress and promotes relaxation, based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, or hovering the hands. Receiving Reiki regularly can decrease pain and ease muscle tension; it can also accelerate healing and improve sleep.

CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY

Gently balance the central nervous system through light, soothing touch on the head, neck, and spine. REFLEXOLOGY

Wayne is a licensed massage therapist who places an emphasis on healing and relief of acute and chronic pain. Poppy is a graduate of Spatech Institute of Westborough. Deep Tissue, Stretching, and Cupping are her forte. She’s been doing massage since her waitressing days and gets a lot of gratification from improving others’ quality of life. She empathizes with others, always wanting to improve the lives of people sitting in an office chair all day or parents doing a lot of bending and lifting.

MASSAGE

Dianne

Dianne came to Release in April of 2022.  She is a graduate of Acusage Academy School of Massage and Reflexology in Oxford, MA in 2011.

She has experience in a range of modalities such as Swedish, hot stones, advanced cupping and prenatal (she loves her baby mommas).  Dianne also offers: Reflexology, which is working on the feet to help influence the body’s health

Cranial-Sacral massage, is a gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine and pelvis, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system can be normalized.  This removes “blockages” from the normal flow, which enhances the body’s ability to heal. Reiki, a Japanese form of energy healing which is used to in order to encourage emotional and physical healing.

Dianne is very intuitive in her light to deep pressure touch. She listens to her clients and will work with the type of massage they are looking for. If you are not in a session with Dianne, you could also see her enjoying the Bliss area to help promote her well-being.  Dianne is waiting to enjoy “grandkid” life and can’t wait to spoil them.

Jim

Jim has been a massage therapist for over 7 years. He started his career after completing the 1000 hour program at the Cortiva Institute in Seattle, WA. He practiced in the Seattle area licensed by the WA State Board of Health for 4 years before moving back to his home state of Massachusetts. He joined the team at Release in the spring of 2022. Depending on the needs of a client, Jim’s massage consists of several modalities and techniques, including neuromuscular, myofascial release, deep tissue, injury treatment/post op, active release, structural, lymphatic facilitation, Swedish and Lomi Lomi. The goals of every massage he gives are to reduce a client’s pain, improve their posture, and most importantly, put the client into a state of deep relaxation.

MASSAGE LEAD

Sandi

Sandi is a licensed massage therapist and graduate from Salter College. Sandi was always interested in the human body, but found her passion for massage later in life. She loves to help her clients have a better quality of life, whether that means trying to avoid surgery, getting off pain meds, or just feeling like a human being again. Sandi uses a combination of Swedish massage, stretching, Myofascial release, and deep tissue in her sessions. She has worked with clients who have MS, Parkinson’s, cancer, mastectomy/reconstruction surgery, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, post surgery, and pre/post natal. Sandi once enjoyed indoor rock climbing, obstacle racing, and riding in the PanMass Challenge. She would like to hike along the Appalachian Trail and the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Rebecca

Rebecca is a Reiki Master healer. She is incredibly passionate about helping people realize the profound healing power of Reiki. Her practice draws from multiple lineages of Reiki and styles of energy healing. During her sessions, she weaves together Usui, Holy Fire ® III, Tera Mai and Shamantic Reiki. She also incorporates healing crystals and aromatherapy into her sessions. She aims to provide deep healing, nourishment, comfort and an overall sense of peace to her clients.

Renee graduated from SpaTech Institute’s advanced esthetic program in 2016. Renee utilizes what she has learned over the years to provide her clients with ideal services and products for every skin concern.

Liz

Liz attended Elizabeth Grady in 2000. From there she has worked at various high end spas and salons performing facials, waxing, and body treatments. She thoroughly enjoys making improvements on clients’ skin. Liz specifically loves working with those who suffer from acne and educating clients on proper skin care. Liz has since furthered her education with advanced training in skin, makeup, and lashes. She is a certified lash specialist by Xtreme. She has also worked in the makeup industry for the Golf Channel, and has had her makeup published. Liz is so excited to be a part of the team at Release Well-Being Center and share her expertise!

Shannon has been a licensed Esthetician since 1997. She graduated from the Catherine Hinds Institute. Skincare is her passion and taking a holistic approach has made it extremely rewarding for her. She believes that “healthy” skin mirrors a “healthy” lifestyle. Shannon loves spending time with her two daughters as well as practicing yoga, taking nature walks, and experimenting with new recipes.

Brianna originally started working at Release in July 2022 as part of the guest service team. She then graduated from Spa Tech in April 2023 and has since become an esthetician at Release, with a concentration in facials. She was always interested in health and wellness, and decided to take a leap of faith to try something new that she is passionate about. She loves connecting with her clients and helping them with their skincare to make them feel more confident. She wants to continue her education with esthetics and has a goal to become a yoga instructor in the future to embody her overall passion for wellness.

Heather

Heather originally started working at Release in August 2023 as part of the Guest Service team and has over a year of Spa experience. She graduated from Spa Tech Institute in September 2023 and has since become a Massage Therapist. Heather has always been interested in therapeutic massage and finally made a career change to pursue her passion. She uses an integrated approach including myofascial and stretching techniques to target her client’s focus areas. As someone who worked over a decade in an office environment she is also very adept at working on the “tech neck” tension pattern. From relaxation to targeted focus area work, Heather will make your massage goals her top priority every session. Whether at the front desk or the massage table, Heather wants to do everything she can to make her clients feel relaxed, cared for, and at ease.
