“Setting a Drishti”: Longevity for the New Year
In Yoga, Drishti is a Sanskrit word interpreted as “focused gaze”, and is used as a means for developing concentrated intention.
Join Jenn, as we explore setting a Drishti for the new year that is built on a greater presence in the Self, without the demands of resolve. In this practice, we will strengthen skills that foster the longevity necessary to carry our mental focus and vision with ease into 2025. Beginning with meditation and visualization, we will cultivate a gazing point that will set our inner eyes on an intention. We’ll continue with a steady sequence of asanas (poses), that will help to ground and initiate this year’s Drishti into being. Then to seal our practice, ending with a relaxing, yet inspiring guided yoga nidra. Plan to leave feeling motivated to move forward with sustained interest, fortitude and a sense of longevity for this upcoming year.
After the yoga class, you can enjoy dinner in our Nourish Cafe, and then end the night in our Bliss. Our healing therapies in Bliss include the Himalayan Salt Room, Sun Sauna, Eucalyptus Steam Room, and Mineral Spa Tub. We recommend that you bring a robe and sandals for the Bliss portion of the night, as we do not offer them for our Healthy Night Outs.

Jenn Cadenhead
Jenn grew up as a competitive swimmer in Southern California, where she first began teaching and coaching at the age of 16. Jenn’s love for health and fitness led her towards physical therapy and anatomy studies where she discovered Pilates. Jenn was certified in both traditional mat and apparatus Pilates in 2001 and taught for many years locally. Soon, after moving to New York, she began yoga in the Dharma Mithras lineage. This is when her true love for Yoga developed. Divine intuition led Jenn to travel to India where she accomplished her first 200 hour yoga teacher training under the Sivananda Vedanta Center in 2014. After practicing and teaching around the world, Jenn travelled back to India in 2016, for an advanced 300 hour teacher trainingm studying in the Iyengar lineage. Deeply rooted in the philosophy and tradition of yoga, Jenn’s devotion to practice led her to study at many monastic and yogic institutes, worldwide. Currently, Jenn is working towards an 800 hour Diploma of Yoga Therapy and incorporates these fundamentals and practices into her teaching. Her classes are grounded in the path of Bhakti and Karma yoga where spaciousness is created to move into the heart and the body, to strengthen, heal and transform. Jenn teaches Pilates, Hatha and Vinyasa flows, Yin and Restorative Yoga, as well as many forms of meditation. She also facilitates kirtan and soundscape immersion workshops.
