Free Community Class in Honor of Westborough Connects Kindness Week 2025
Join Eileen for a gentle Yin Yoga practice infused with the healing energy of Loving Kindness. This slow, beginner-friendly class invites you to turn inward and soften; body, mind, and heart. As you move through floor-based Yin postures, you’ll be guided through short meditations centered on Metta, the practice of Loving Kindness.
We begin by offering compassion and gentleness toward ourselves, cultivating an inner warmth that naturally expands outward, to loved ones, our community, and all beings. Each pose becomes an opportunity to breathe deeply, release tension, and open space for empathy and connection.
This practice gently targets the joints and connective tissues to enhance flexibility and range of motion. It also supports the harmonious flow of Qi by engaging the energy meridian system rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.
Yin yoga is accessible for all levels, especially those who can comfortably come down to the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this class offers a peaceful environment to pause, reflect, and experience the ripple effect of kindness, starting from within.
No experience required. Mats and props provided.
Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, open-hearted, and renewed.
