7:00 – 8:15 pm

Sanctuary Yoga Studio

Join Marianne Davis for a 75-minute workshop focused on building bone strength, improving balance, and supporting long-term wellness.

Bone strength begins to decline after age 30, accelerating during the menopausal transition. This class will explore how force applied to bones helps stimulate growth and strength, and how the regular practice of specific yoga poses can help build and maintain bone health.

The work of Dr. Loren Fishman will serve as the foundation of this class and the weekly Bone Strength and Balance classes that will follow.

Marianne Davis

Marianne is an RYT 200 certified yoga instructor. Her class is carefully designed to unite the body and the mind, incorporating the 8 Limbs of Yoga, so that the time on the mat prepares you for life off the mat. The slow flow includes options to challenge yourself or be a little more gentle with your body, depending on your needs. The room is dimly lit so you can easily forget that anyone else is in the room. The class is a perfect way to transition from a stressful day to an energized, yet peaceful evening.
