How can I make a reservation?

What time should I arrive for my treatments?
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your treatment.
What’s included in my spa treatment?
A luxurious spa robe and sandals, an aromatherapy foot soak and 60 minutes of Bliss. In Bliss you are invited to experience the Himalayan salt room, 10,000 Lux Sun Sauna, Eucalyptus Steam Room, Private Infrared Sauna, and Outdoor Hot Mineral Spa. You will receive a spa robe and sandals.

What if I don’t want to do Bliss?
Bliss is optional however we offer discounted bundles, which do not include a foot soak, spa robe, or Bliss. Please click here for more information on bundles.
Do I pay for my spa treatment in advance?
At the time of booking we will take a credit card to hold your appointment, but you do not pay for your treatment until time of check out on the day of your treatment. If you book online, you will be prompted to pay for your treatment at time of booking.
What should I leave for gratuity?
The standard gratuity for a spa treatment you enjoyed is 18% – 20%. You may leave gratuity via credit card or cash upon check out, or you may give your therapist gratuity in the therapy room.
How far in advance do I have to cancel?
Spa appointments, events, workshops, or retreats may be canceled up to 24 hours prior without penalty. Appointments canceled within the 24-hour window will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. No Show appointments will be charged 100%. To cancel you should call our concierge at 508-986-2330.
What happens when I am late?
Arriving late will shorten your treatment. Please remember that we must stay on schedule and your treatment must end on time.
Can I get a massage or facial if I am pregnant?
We do not massage in the first trimester, but once you have entered your second trimester, a prenatal massage is an amazing way to relieve lower back pain, ease tension and stress, and release endorphins that are good for you and the baby. Pregnancy can bring on hormonal skin changes, and our expert estheticians are here to guide you through it. You can have a facial at any time during your pregnancy.
Will I receive a robe?
If you are doing Bliss you will receive a spa robe and sandals. Our standard a la carte spa treatments include 60 minutes of Bliss.

Do you have lockers and towels?
Yes! We have fully stocked locker rooms with showers and towels.
Do you have memberships?
Yes! We believe regular spa visits are crucial to a lifetime of wellbeing, and a monthly spa membership is a fantastic way to enjoy more spa treatments for less. We offer bundled massages and facials at a discounted rate as well as monthly memberships. Click here for more information.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests below the age of 12 years old can receive spa treatments but must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Guests ages 13 and up can receive treatments alone with the written consent of a parent or guardian. In order to maintain a relaxing environment for all Bliss guests, guests below 13 years old are not allowed to access Bliss.
What if I have a physical ailment, disability, injury, or allergies?
Please notify the concierge at the time you are making your appointments and your therapist at the beginning of your treatment. Some of our treatment rooms are located on the second floor of the historical Nathan Fisher House and would require going up a flight of stairs. If this does not suit you, we will book you on the first level of the Sanctuary building.
Can I choose to have a female or male therapist?
If you have a preference, please notify the concierge at time of booking.
How do gift cards work?
We sell gift cards as wonderful gift for any special occasion or celebration. Gift cards can be used toward any service or offering at Release. You can put them toward a spa package, membership, delicious food at the cafe, or an item in our boutique! Gift cards can be used as tender at checkout.
What is Bliss?
Bliss includes a relaxation area, the Himalayan salt room, 10,000 Lux light sun sauna, private infrared sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and outdoor hot mineral spa.
I booked a treatment, do I have access to Bliss?
Yes, our a la carte spa treatments include access to Bliss for 1 hour. If you are redeeming a treatment from a Bundle of 3, please note that they do not include a robe, spa sandal or the amenities. Read more about our bundles here.
What is the right order to do the Bliss therapies?
There is no right or wrong order. You can start and end with any of the therapies.
What should I wear for Bliss?
If you are doing Bliss, we recommend a swim suit or shorts and a shirt. We will provide you with a robe and spa sandals.
Is Bliss co-ed?
Yes, all of the therapies in Bliss are co-ed.
Can I purchase a pass just to use Bliss?
Yes, Bliss day passes are available for $50. If you are having a spa treatment, Bliss is included in your experience.
Do I have to book the Bliss rooms?
Once you book your Bliss pass or spa treatment you should reserve a time slot for the Himalayan salt room and the private infrared sauna. The other rooms do not require a time slot reservation.
Is Bliss a quiet space?
Yes, we ask that all guests please keep conversations at a low volume to ensure an environment of tranquility and relaxation for all guests.

May I use my cellphone or electronic device in Bliss?
Our spa promotes an environment of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect other guests’ rights to privacy and peace. The use of cellular phones and electronic devices is kept at your discretion, we ask that you keep the volume low.
Is there a minimum age for Bliss?
Guests below 13 years old are not allowed to access Bliss.
Can I bring food or alcohol?
Food is not permitted in Bliss. Outside alcohol is also not permitted.
Should I take a shower before entering the hot mineral spa?
Yes, we require all guests to shower off before entering the outdoor hot mineral spa.
What should I expect in the Himalayan salt room?
Therapy sessions in our Himalayan salt room last 25 minutes and require nothing more than deep breathing and relaxation. You are encouraged to sit back, unwind and breathe deeply as the micro-particles of the pure salt are dispersed into the air, entering your airways to naturally cleanse and detoxify your lungs, sinuses and air passages. You will hear the sound of the halo-generator dispersing the salt in the air throughout the treatment.
Do you do group bookings or private parties?
Yes, we do! Group spa events, as well as corporate and leisure events, are available at our location or at an off site venue of your choosing. Contact Linda Townsend at Linda@releasewellbeingcenter.com for more information.
What should I wear?
We suggest workout clothes that you can bend, stretch, and move in without restriction. Yoga classes are done barefoot on a yoga mat. We recommend Barre socks for our Barre classes. You can purchase grippy socks for Barre in our boutique. Sneakers are required for all other Fitness and Cycle classes.
Do I pay for my class in advance?
In order to reserve a spot in class we require payment at the time of booking. You can pay for one individual class, or apply your membership or class pass at the time of booking.
What if I arrive late?
For the safety of yourself and others, guests are not permitted to enter class more than 15 minutes after it starts.
What is your class cancellation policy?
Pre-booked Yoga, Fitness and Meditation classes may be cancelled up to 3 hours prior to class time without penalty. Classes cancelled within a three hour window will not be refunded. Member cancellation policy is as follows: Pre-booked Yoga, Fitness and Meditation classes may be cancelled up to 3 hours prior to class time without penalty. Classes cancelled within a three hour window will receive no charge for first miss per calendar month, $10 for second miss per calendar month, $20 for 3rd and any additional misses per calendar month. Waitlist Policy: If you are not in class when it starts, your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.
How do I purchase classes?
It’s very easy to purchase class passes through our mobile app. You can also purchase a class pass or sign up for membership at our location.
Do class passes expire?
A single class expires after 1 month, a 10 class pass expires after 6 months, and a 20 class pass expires after 12 months. Class passes are non refundable and non transferable.
Can I transfer my class pass to someone else?
No, transfer or sharing is not possible.
Do I have to bring a mat?
If you are doing yoga, we encourage you to bring a mat. We also offer mat rentals for $2.
It’s my first time at Release. Should I check in?
Yes, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class begins and check in at the concierge desk.
Can I take classes if I am pregnant?
For our regular guests and members, once you are pregnant you may continue to take classes, and just reduce the intensity levels as needed. Always inform your teacher before class that you are pregnant, and they will cue you on the proper modifications during class. If you have not been regularly exercising, we don’t recommend getting started with a brand new exercise routine during pregnancy. We ask all expecting guests to obtain approval from your doctor giving you permission to exercise during pregnancy.
What age do I have to be to take a class?
Any guest under the age of 18 can take any yoga or fitness class with their parent or alone with the parent’s written consent and consideration. We do offer kid’s & family fitness and yoga classes and the ages are noted on the class descriptions.

I am a beginner, is any class suitable?
Beginners are always welcome! We offer a variety of classes, many of which are suitable for all levels. Our instructors are able to accommodate beginners. Do you offer memberships?
Yes, and it only takes 2 classes a week for the cost of membership to make sense! We offer spa, fitness and yoga memberships. To find out more about our memberships click here.
