Ginger – Don’t Stress, Digest!

There’s a reason that ginger ale is such a popular drink on airplanes and during flu season; ginger stimulates the production of bile, which helps aid in digestion! While I don’t suggest soda, I do recommend fresh ginger (or even essential oil) as an excellent substance that promotes the elimination of intestinal gas, has anti-inflammatory effects, and even helps with nausea.

Slice up some ginger root and top with hot water next time your tummy feels funny or you need help with digestion, or incorporate it into your home cooked dishes for a healthy kick.
