Founder
Linda
Linda Townsend, Founder and President of Release Well-Being Center, had a dream – to bring together the many facets of holistic wellness in one location to meet a growing and unfulfilled need in metro west.
Linda draws on her extensive background in the corporate environment, as well as her wellness knowledge and experience, to create an ideal “sanctuary” and community where individuals of any age and fitness level can find balance, purpose and well-being. She graduated as Valedictorian when she received her MBA from Northeastern University, has a BA in Journalism from Northeastern University and later received a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from William James College.
After starting her career as an investigative newspaper and television journalist, then a marketing and sales executive for several high-tech companies, Linda was recognized for her work in the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), an international organization of more than 9,000 CEOs, for outstanding work coaching CEO peer groups. Trying to balance her career while raising three young children, she became attuned to the importance of consistent self-care (you must put on your own oxygen mask first before you can help others!), which led her to become a certified yoga instructor in 2007 and then an executive and life coach. Linda connected with a team of wellness experts to realize and expand her dream for Release Well-Being Center.
Linda lives in Westborough, Massachusetts with her husband and three sons, and remains active in yoga, mindfulness, coaching, reading, gardening and volunteering

Her life revolves around fitness and overall wellness. Christi adores working at Release with other passionate, like-minded individuals. Christi has a genuine desire for Release members to be more educated about their minds, their bodies, and themselves as a whole. She emphasizes: healing is a journey. She enjoys getting to personally know every Release member, no matter where they are in their well being journey.

HR MANAGER
Rebecca
Rebecca is a passionate yoga instructor and experienced HR manager. She is a lifelong advocate of health and wellness, and enjoys learning about new ways people can take care of themselves. For years, Rebecca had a desire to work in the wellness industry, but was not sure how she could break into the space. During her yoga teacher training, she had the opportunity to participate in a work-trade. Through administrative and behind-the-scenes work, Rebecca realized she enjoyed having a supportive role to ensure a business was running smoothly. When her position became available at Release, she knew it was meant to be! Rebecca admires Release’s holistic, whole-body approach to wellness. She commends our center’s inclusivity, individual approach to wellness, and integration of different modalities. She is incredibly thankful that she can be a part of such a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional wellness services.

Guest Services Manager
Kris
Our Guest Services Manager Kris is a lifelong advocate of interdisciplinary approaches to healing, and appreciates that Release offers this. In her early 30s, after living a fast-paced, career-driven life for many years, Kris became ill. She was forced to re-evaluate her habits and began to recognize the importance of having the time, energy, and headspace to live a full life. Kris became interested in holistic medicine and healing, and was drawn to the mission of Release. She is a passionate artist. Her other hobbies include biking, yoga, traveling, hiking in the woods, and boogie boarding.

Guest Services Lead
Krystyjana
Krystyjana’s first year at Release has been spent learning about our unique atmosphere, while at the same time building a solid Guest Services Team! She is actively engaged in our mission to practice self-care and allow room for joy, health, and happiness. With quality of life in mind, Krystyjana obtained her certification as a Life Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner from iPEC in 2018. Wanting yet another perspective, she pursued an additional coaching certification from Levin Life Coach Academy in 2019. Krystyjana is fascinated by Energy Medicine and is attuned in Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho 1st and 2nd Degree). Krystyjana’s personal core values include authenticity, contribution, compassion, and family; her secret to a fulfilling life is embodying these values and bringing her best to all she does, while remaining true to herself. Her hobbies include: being creative in all ways possible, hiking, learning the guitar, practicing meditation and yoga, encountering moose while on bike rides, gardening in her Kindness Rock Garden, and curating her neighborhood’s Little Free Library. She is also the personal cheerleader of her two amazing sons.

Sandi uses a combination of Swedish massage, stretching, Myofascial release, and deep tissue in her sessions. She has worked with clients who have MS, Parkinson’s, cancer, mastectomy/reconstruction surgery, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, post surgery, and pre/post natal.
