Release Well-Being Center Appoints Dawn Spann as President to Oversee Boston Expansion

Release Well-Being Center has appointed Dawn Spann as their new president. In her new role, Spann will oversee the Boston expansion and all operations of the centers in Boston and Westborough, Massachusetts. Spann has more than twenty years of experience in the spa and wellness industry.


Dawn Spann started her career with Destination Hotels & Resorts, a U.S.-based hotel and resort management company with a 42-property portfolio, where she held an active role on the executive leadership team and led multiple properties in the Pacific Northwest. She also contributed to the spa leadership team, creating direction for the portfolio that included a lead role in signature recreation offering, spa programming and training of guest service teams. Spann led pre-opening initiatives through the opening of the Cliff House Resort & Spa, Two Roads Hospitality, Mii Amo in Sedona, AZ for the Enchantment Group as acting general manager, and consulted with CoralTree Hospitality as their corporate spa director supporting new business development.


Spann also successfully opened The Spa at Sweetgrass, Wild Dunes Resort, and led the re-envisioning of the historic Charleston Place Spa under the management of Beemok Hospitality. Spann has also consulted on multiple projects developing design concepts, spa and wellness programs, sourcing FFE and OSE specifications, pre-opening proforma development and financial modeling.


Recent projects Spann has been involved with include work at Four Seasons, Astir Palace Hotel in Athens, Greece, the St. Regis Marbella, Spain, Belmond Cap Juluca, Anguilla, Ritz Reserve Papagayo, Costa Rica, The Woodlands Resort, Woodlands, TX, Howard Hughes Hotel, Summerlin, Las Vegas and The Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa, Houston, TX.
